Klub G. I. Gurdžijeva v Praze poskytuje prostor pro kontakt s učením Čtvrté cesty.

Jde nám o hledání a objevování autentického přístupu k Práci na základě vlastních zkušeností. Práce člověku otevírá možnosti vidět podmíněnost na základě mechanických vzorců chování a zvyklostí. 

Organizujeme společná setkání a semináře Gurdžijevových pohybů, které zprostředkovávají přístup k praktické zkušenosti s Prací na více úrovních.

Za účelem seznámení se s učením Čtvrté cesty v psané podobě byly přeloženy a ve spolupráci s nakladatelstvím Malvern vydány mnohé stěžejní texty několika autorů.

"Pokud jsou Belzebubovy příběhy legominismem, co se z nich máme naučit? Je to vhled do lidské situace, jaká skutečně je, a ne takové, jakou si ji představujeme.  Posouzení situace má tři hlavní části.

Člověk jako třímozková bytost je schopen neomezeného vývoje. Může se stát svobodnou, vědomou individuální bytostí schopnou pochopit fungování Stvoření a být mu nápomocen.

Osud člověka se zvrtl. Nese následky chyb, které neudělal on, ale 'vyšší síly' v rané fázi jeho pozemského vývoje. Ačkoliv byly později napraveny, zanechaly mu dědictví egoismu a neochotu čelit realitě, které ho odsuzují k bídnému stavu ve srovnání s normálními třímozkovými bytostmi vesmíru.

Člověk se musí podílet na 'vzájemné udrživatelnosti'  všeho, co existuje. Může tak činit vlastní 'vědomou prací ' a 'záměrným utrpením', nebo tak může činit pasivně jako zvíře. V prvním případě se stává nesmrtelnou duší a aktivním účastníkem naplňování 'kosmického záměru'."

The Gurdjieff Club of Prague provides space for contact with the teaching of the Fourth Way.

We wish to look for and discover an authentic approach towards the Work based on our experience. The Work opens possibilities, in the words of one of our teachers, perhaps 'one square milimeter', to take a glimpse of the conditioning resulting from the mechanical patterns of habits and behavior.

We organise joint meetings and Gurdjieff movements seminars, both of which provide possibilities for practical experience with the Work on several levels.

In cooperation with the publishing house Malvern, seminal works by several authors have been translated and published, in order to facilitate transmission in the written form. 

"If Beelzebub's Tales is a legominism, what is it that we have to learn from it? It is an insight into the human situation as it really is and not as we imagine it to be. There are three main elements in the appraisal.

Man as a three-brained being is capable of unlimited evolution. He can become free, a conscious individual being capable of understanding the workings of the Creation and of being a helper in the Creative process.

Man's destiny has gone wrong. He bears the consequences of errors made not by him, but by 'Higher Powers' at an early stage of his earthly evolution. Though later corrected, these have left with him a legacy of egoism and a reluctance to face reality that condemns him to a miserable state, compared with that of normal three-brained beings of the Universe.

Man must play his part in the Reciprocal Maintenance of all that Exists. He may do so by his own Conscious Labour and Intentional Suffering, or he may do so passively as an animal does. In the first case, he becomes an immortal soul and an active participant in the fulfillment of the Cosmic Purpose."
